In March, Surefox North America (SFNA) hosted an impactful physical fitness event in partnership with Merging Vets and Players (MVP) and the National Medal of Honor Museum (NMOHM). The Surefox Physical Agility Test (SPAT) wasn’t just about fitness—it was a demonstration of our commitment to excellence, our veteran-forward values, and the high bar we set for security professionals.

The SPAT served a dual purpose:
- Certify Surefox personnel for deployment at the National Medal of Honor Museum
- Host a veteran-supporting fitness event, honoring those who’ve served through collaborations with MVP and NMOHM
Since 2016, Surefox has set itself apart in the industry—not just by being prepared to respond, but by designing and holding rigorous assessments like SPAT. It’s a reflection of our culture: We train like we fight.

What It Takes: The SPAT Sequence
To pass, each guard had to complete the following under 10 minutes:
- 6 flights of stairs (3 stories)
- Run/Walk ¼ mile
- Reach and drag a 180lb rescue dummy for 30 yards
- Carry a 25lb medical bag for 30 yards
- Run/Walk another ¼ mile
Equipment provided:
- 3 x 180lb Drag Dummies
- 3 x 25lb Med Bags
This wasn’t just a challenge—it was a direct measurement of capability. Through this assessment, we determine whether our personnel can truly perform under pressure, should a real event occur on-site.

We were honored to welcome Chris Cassidy, CEO of NMOHM and former NASA astronaut, as our lead speaker. His presence highlighted the importance of readiness and integrity—values that align with our own.
