SF Medics are professionals who are able to tailor a medical advance to any location globally with minimal notice. US based licensed clinicians are not by law authorized to practice in other countries. Other countries have domestic authorities that issue licenses to practice in their jurisdictions.
The medical director will be available to provide advice at the same accessibility as in the states at a short notice and can make recommendations of what to acquire at foreign pharmacies. The medical director is thoroughly experienced in international travel medicine and can provide pre-travel medications relevant to the region to which the principal is traveling.

- Dedicated Personnel: Surefox EP Medics are typically assigned to a single client or principal. This ensures that the same medics are consistently deployed, allowing them to build strong, trusted relationships with both the security team and the executives.
- Team Stability: Ideally, a maximum of three paramedics will be assigned to each detail. This small, stable team helps foster familiarity and trust between the medics and the clients, reducing the need for frequent personnel changes
- Retention Focus: We place a strong emphasis on minimizing turnover within the medical team. By stabilizing team assignments and retaining experienced personnel, we maintain a consistent level of service and ensure that the same medics are available for each assignment.
- Staff Development: Continuous investment in the professional development and satisfaction of our medics helps to retain staff and reduce turnover. This includes offering training, career growth opportunities, and recognizing the contributions of our team members.
- Pre-Deployment Integration: Before deployment, medics will be introduced to the security team and executives they will be working with. This initial familiarization ensures that everyone is comfortable and confident in their roles.
- Ongoing Coordination: Regular briefings and coordination meetings will be held to ensure that medics stay informed about any changes or updates related to the security team and the principal’s preferences.
Pre-Approved Backup: In the rare event that additional personnel are required, we will use pre-approved and familiar backup medics who have been vetted and are already known to the security team and executives. This approach maintains continuity and minimizes the introduction of new, unfamiliar personnel.

- Courses that SF Paramedics have completed within the past twelve months: Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician, Flight Paramedic Refresher, TECC Instructor Course, American Heart Association BLS Instructor Training
- In addition to these courses, each Paramedic is required to complete a total of sixty hours of continuing education every two years to renew their National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic certification.
- Surefox Paramedics participate in regular embedded training with their respective security teams.
- Required compliance training (HR: Conflict of Interest, Use of Force, SHPT, ETC)
- With the operational tempo typically experienced by Surefox Paramedics, online FP-C or CCP courses are a logical first choice for attaining this certification. Some of these online courses are one scholastic semester in duration, and also include an in-person or hand on “practical” portion of training.
- Surefox Team Leadership will prioritize providing schedule flexibility to attend these training sessions in person.
- Surefox Team Leadership will establish a monthly check-in with Paramedics while enrolled in courses to ensure they are on track to complete certification within the established time frame.
- Surefox will bear the burden of cost for initial certification in the form of tuition assistance.
